Dr. Kathryn Kennedy

Kathryn, founder of Embodied Change Coaching, is dedicated to supporting individuals in their personal journeys of growth and transformation. With a warm, client-centered approach, Kathryn walks alongside each person, celebrating every step forward — no matter how small — and fostering a sense of joy, curiosity, and authenticity in the coaching experience. She empowers individuals to lead their own process, supporting them to connect with the wisdom of their bodies to unlock meaningful, lasting change. Kathryn’s background in somatic coaching and holistic practices equips her with a wealth of tools to help clients connect to the body’s wisdom, navigating their growth with courage and curiosity, trusting that they are their own best guide.

Kathryn’s professional and personal journey are rooted in somatic and holistic practices. She holds a number of certifications, including but not limited to the ones listed below. Statement of Positionality

As a white, cis-gendered woman, I am aware of the power and privilege my identity holds, and I am dedicated to using this awareness to create an inclusive, equitable, and supportive environment for every client. At Embodied Change Coaching, I am intentional about centering diversity, equity, and inclusion in each aspect of my coaching practice to create space to honor and value the talents, voice, and contributions each client brings so that they feel respected, valued, and empowered.

I am committed to co-creating a safe, collaborative space where clients from all backgrounds—across race, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical and mental ability, religion, and cultural perspective—are welcomed as they are. I honor each client’s unique experiences and recognize that true, sustainable change often requires acknowledging and addressing the social and cultural factors, including systemic barriers, that may impact their lives.

I co-design with each client a supportive and culturally-responsive environment that values diverse perspectives to meet each of their unique needs. By continually educating myself and working in alignment with anti-racist and inclusive principles, I work with clients to co-create a coaching space that champions the voices and identities of those historically marginalized, especially people of color and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. In every aspect of my practice, I seek to ensure that my clients feel seen, heard, and celebrated, reinforcing that they belong and can thrive. This commitment to inclusivity and equity is at the heart of my mission to empower clients as they embark on their journeys of transformation and self-discovery.
